Mrs. Aletha L. Jackson

Mrs. Aletha Linder - Jackson
January 19, 1965 - April 21, 2002

Wife, Mother, Sister, and many other titles did Mrs. Aletha Linder-Jackson wear. A virtuous woman of character and tenacity went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ, April 21, 2002 with her husband Pastor Warren Jackson and her sons, Peter and Emmanuel and other family members at her bedside. Mrs. Aletha Linda Jackson was co-founder, Vice President, and Financial Accountant of Rise Above It Family Church, Inc. and Rise Above It Intensive Children Services, and a consistent help and watchman for her husband. A community advocate, a mentor for many young women, particularly her nieces who she loved and cared for so much. A mother who trained her children through education, Bible, character, economics, etc., "strict and to the point", This mighty women of God was born to the late Mr. Gerald Linder (Far rockaway, New York), and Ms. Addie Dixon (Daytona Beach, Florida) and raised in Daytona Beach, Florida, attending area schools in her youth and then graduating and then attending Daytona Beach Community College where she was certified in many office ventures and certified in many aspects of administration. Mrs. Jackson was an artist and poem writer. Unique in her way and designed she was surely equipped to assist her husband Pastor Jackson in running the ministry. In 1999, she assisted her husband in acquiring a grant totaling an amount of $900,000.00 to assist in helping indigent families in the Volusia County areas. Her accounting ability was a major help in keeping records straight, and vendors satisfied. Holy Ghost filled and competent her heart was to see people live out "Truth". She spent much of her life ministering to the least and lost those that no one noticed. Originally, her path was to minister the Word of God to individuals' one on one. In this setting, she was a strong, no nonsense person of the Word of God. Her Loving Arms Food & Clothing Ministry which feeds and clothed many in our community continues today and has fed over 1,200 families to date. She was and continues to be an inspiration and testimony to those who knew of her strength and confidence in her savior Jesus Christ, with whom she resides today. It was April of 1999 that Mrs. Jackson was diagnosed with breast cancer. Mrs. Jackson never doubted God's ability to heal her. She stood on the Word of God. She often said that she would believe the word of God no matter what! Even after her diagnosis, Mrs. Jackson continued to minister the Word to others around her. She continued her ministry with her husband Pastor Warren B. Jackson in various Rise Above It ministries and a full-time job with ACT. Mrs. Jackson believed that every moment counted for God. Today, she is both with us in our memories, and in our hearts. For we have not loss her, for we know where she is and Rise Above It, was her vision too. Her anointing has passed to her children and today her sons, Peter and Emmanuel continue her legacy under the guidance of their father in the church that she helped establish. May her vision, energy, tenacity, and commitment to truth and ministry never leave Rise Above It Family Church, Inc. Truth is the cornerstone in which any Godly foundation is erected.
